About Us

Kashi Bose Lane Durga Puja Samity is known as one of the oldest "Barowari" pujas in North Kolkata. Initiated in 1937, our committee continues to enrich Kolkata's Durga Puja till now, adding newer dimensions to this grand festival every year. We, as a committee, uphold the true essence of Bengali culture and heritage through our rituals. Every year, at Kashi Bose Lane, puja begins from "Pratipad" and "Bhog" is distributed among all our visitors, from "Shasthi" to "Nabami". We take pride in being one of the pioneers of tradition in Kolkata.
